The 1974 model year marked the end of the legendary big-block era for the Chevrolet Corvette, making this LS4-equipped convertible one of the final factory 454-powered Corvettes ever produced. Finished in its striking factory color combination of Silver exterior over Silver interior with a Black convertible top, this highly desirable Corvette is equipped with the legendary LS4 454 V8, a 4-speed manual transmission, factory air conditioning, and numerous factory options.

A well-preserved, low-mileage example when acquired, this Corvette has since benefited from extensive mechanical and cosmetic refinement focused on factory-correct presentation, reliability, and drivability. In May 2024, the car earned an NCRS Second Flight Award. Since that time, additional sorting, detailing, and corrective work have been completed to further enhance the car's overall presentation and authenticity.

Mechanical refinements include the professional restoration of the original matching-numbers carburetor, intake manifold service and resealing, correction of vacuum leaks, installation of a new charcoal canister, and upgrading the factory timing chain to a steel timing set for enhanced reliability and long-term durability. The engine compartment has been meticulously detailed with correct factory-style components and finishes. Particular attention was given to originality, including the restoration and reinstallation of the car's original factory smog system, preserving an important component of the Corvette's factory equipment and contributing to a highly authentic engine bay presentation.

The Black convertible top was also replaced using Al Knoch components.
